Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 April 2026

This policy explains how Nitor d.o.o. ("Nitor", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit nitor-digital.com or send us a message through one of the forms on this site. We aim to keep this short and readable. If anything is unclear, email us at info@nitor-digital.com.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) is:

What we collect

We only collect data you actively give us through one of two forms on this site:

  • Portfolio request form — your email address.
  • Contact form — your name, email address, optionally your phone number, and the contents of your message.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, session-replay tools, or any other third-party tracker on this site. We do not use cookies.

Like every site on the internet, our hosting provider automatically records technical request data (IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp) in short-lived server logs. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and diagnose errors.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your inquiry and send you the materials you asked for. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you requested, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent when you submit the form.
  • To keep the site available, secure, and free of abuse. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in protecting our service.
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting record- keeping when you become a client. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with a legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with a small number of service providers that help us run the site and respond to you:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts the website and stores short-lived server logs.
  • Resend, Inc. (United States) — delivers the email notification of your form submission to our inbox.
  • Google LLC (United States) — provides our email inbox (Gmail), where we read and reply to your message.

Each of these providers acts as our data processor under a written agreement and is contractually bound to handle your data only on our instructions.

International transfers

The providers above are based in the United States, so your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are protected by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the providers' certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for up to 24 months from the date we receive them, after which they are deleted from our inbox. If you become a client, we keep the records associated with that engagement for the duration of the engagement plus any period required by Croatian tax and accounting law (typically up to 11 years). Server logs are retained only for a short period — usually a few hours to a few days — by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to our processing of your data;
  • receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@nitor-digital.com. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're outside the EU, you can exercise the same rights through the same address.

If you believe we've mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian supervisory authority — Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), azop.hr — or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Children

This site is intended for adults working in a business capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change to how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Changes apply to data collected after the update date.
